| Deer Park UMC in Mission |
| Vacation Bible School is one of the most important outreach events we have for the kids in our community all year. The mission for the week, since we were on Snowball Mountain, was to collect needs for the cold weather shelter. We collected almost 300 shirts, towels, ponchos, mittens/gloves and soup! The theme of Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS was “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13 We had 38 kids who attended & learned this valuable theme, along with 17 youth volunteers & over 20 adult leaders showing leadership & strengthening their knowledge through this year’s program, too! We want to say thank you to all the volunteers who helped & supported VBS before, during & after. Special THANKS to Jill Redmond for taking on the role of VBS Director. |
